K&R C - 1978
ANSI C, or sometimes C89 - 1989
C99 - 1999

For something specific like this, Wikipedia should be a first stop.

C++0x, theoretically some time this decade.

The C++ standard is formally known as ISO/IEC 14882. The original version is ISO/IEC 14882:1998, 1998 being the year it was accepted. This document has officially been cancelled and replaced by ISO/IEC 14882:2003. I won't insult your intelligence again with a discussion of the new number.

The C language is defined in the document ISO/IEC 9899. The current revision is ISO/IEC 9899, usually referred to as C99. The prior version is referred to as C89. Unfortunately, this is a slight misnomer as the document is ISO/IEC 9899:1990. The 89/90 spec also had an interim update in 1995.
