I was just reading upmy data structures book. Came across Binary Seacrh Tree and Huffmann Tree. Just wanted to know where these data structures practically used??

You can use Huffmann Trees (like the name suggests) for Huffman encoding/compression and binary search trees for all kinds of search/sorting algorithms. Maybe this answer isn't as precise as you hoped but it's a very wide topig. Your question is like asking "what can I use arrays for"?.
