Recently I've followed a tutorial to import a 3ds model into my opengl application. However, that tutorial's project properties in VC++.NET has "Use Managed Code" turned on ("Yes" value). Once I turn that on, my gluCylinder method generates the error below. An unhandled exception of type 'System.TypeLoadException' occurred in Test.exe Additional information: Could not load type GLUquadric from assembly Test, Version=, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null If I don't turn on the managed code property, I can't load the model in. It sorts of goes into an infinite loop on reading the subchunks. Any idea how should i proceed from here? PS. I got my 3ds loader tutorial from the following link. http://www.ultimategameprogramming.com/demoDownload.php?category=OpenGL&page=7
