Non-programming question

Can I ask a non-programming question? I came here because programmers know all and you are gamers too. I have two monitors setup on WinXP. The question is, I know I can drag a window to a second monitor but can I open a specific program on the second window? I don't want to change the primary monitor, just put in a exec-time command to make it open on the other monitor. Thanks.

Well if it is a regular window like notepad it should be able to remember where it's last placement was.

If it is a game it gets more complex, however i believe you can have winamp showing a video on the one side while playing counter strike on the other

Actually, I am wondering if the McCafee antivirus popups are causing a game to freeze. So, I want to move either the popups or the game to the secondary monitor. The game is full screen so I can't click and drag it and when I tried to shut off the antivirus program the computer froze.

Thanks.
if the popups come up so every often, how about turning the antivirus off and then playing the game.

if the game runs fine without the antivirus
cool, you just found out what was causing it.
if not, it must be something else.

just my opinion...
Try Ultramon:

Allows you to set up shortcuts for applications to start on a specific monitor.
