Hey, I'm just getting back into programming (Python) and am looking for ideas as to simple things (text-based) which I can program. Examples I can think of are approximating Pi or e and streaming it to a file, binary to decimal converter, etc. So, what other fun things can I program? Tom

"Guess the number" game... you can never go wrong with that[wink].

Once you feel up to it, a text based RPG would be fun to do...

Interactive fiction games are fun. People might be reluctant to play them, but if they give them a shot, they can be really good! Especially true if the author has writing skills.
