Access VB module

Hello, This should be a simple question, but I know very litle about VB modules, other than that they can probably do what I want. I have a table, and I have a form that I want to use to enter data into said table. The index in the table is based on a simple equation. The equations variables are set by combo boxes in the form, I then want to click a button on the form and have my form jump to the record with the specified index, and if that record dosn't exist it should be created. I've gotten as far as creating a function so that when the button is clicked, it calculates the index. Any thoughts you might have would be appreciated, or even if you could point me in the direction of a decent Access forum or something where people actually go to talk about this sort of thing. I've tried a few, but they seem to be rather barren. Rob
