Windows + GL = Something Wrong

I''m making a map editor using two windows; one for ,y ,ain map window and the other for my tool window. What I''m trying to do is have to combo-boxes to select which sprite your to place and underneath show an image of the selected sprite. Well this was working well and good in DirectX but when I switched it over to OpenGL it draws over top of my controls. I can still click on the combo boxes and they wil appear for a second but then they disappear again. Has anyone excountered something like this or something, I''ve been stuck on this one for a while now. Also my tool window is using it''s own handle and the combo-boxes are using the tool window handle as their parent. Retired Pokemon Master of Prgramming Problems I already had them all.

If I understand it right do you combine OpenGL and GDI, right?
OpenGL and GDI graphics cannot be mixed in a double-buffered window.
An application can directly draw both OpenGL graphics and GDI graphics into a single-buffered window, but not into a double-buffered window.
