Multiple Views in D3D 8

I looked around a bit in the DirectX 8 SDK, and found some information about Swap Chains, but I''m unsure of how exactly one would implement them to get Split Screen Action!(tm). Anyway, if anybody could point me in the right direction, or give me a little source example of how to set it up, I''d be very grateful. Um... I would suggest just creating 2 swap chains and setting the viewport differently for each one maybe? Sorry I can''t be more helpful, but hey, with D3D8 questions, no one seems to be helpful these days (HINT HINT! Get over and answer my 2 posts, someone!!)
