Pointers and References

Just think of it as: Pointers - More complex syntax References - Only point to one thing So you could easily take a program with references and change them all to pointers. References are used mainly for functions. [Edited by - LessBread on April 6, 2006 2:23:18 PM]

I recognize that this is the "For Beginners" forum, and the goal is to be helpful to answer and assist the rising generation. We really do want to help. But in order to do that, we need to understand what you are looking for.

Please restate your post into something that resembles a question.
wasn't there a thread with the exact same title? but the OP in that thread was actually asking a question. this OP seems to be answering it.... is this a new GameDev thing?
