Hi! A big day in the DemoGL development: the Release Candidate(RC) of the demosystem DemoGL v1.3 is now available for download on http://www.demogl.com. Together with this new release, new documentation, a new example and the full sourcecode for DemoGL v1.3 are also released! DemoGL v1.3 RC1 is a pre-release of the final version. This release can contain bugs and the documentation is not finished yet (only the reference manual is finished). If you do not want to work with pre-releases, use this RC1 to make yourself comfortable with the new API and the new features and grab the final version after the 1st of March, 2001. If you want to develop on DemoGL you can do that from now on. Tomorrow or the day after tomorrow the DemoGL site at sourceforge will be updated with the sourcecode in the CVS tree. You can now already download the sourcecode in one .zip file. If you want to participate in the development of DemoGL and/or want to report bugs in this new version, use one of the feedback forms or mail to: devteam@demogl.com. DemoGL v1.3 is a total refreshment of the old v1.2 API, contains an enormous amount of new features like screensaver support, 3D sound, sound effects, better debug facilities, new kernel, new console etc etc. Download the new SDK, new example, new documentation and the full DemoGL v1.3 sourcecode from: http://www.demogl.com The final release of DemoGL v1.3 is planned for March 1st, 2001. Enjoy! --
