BeOS Version?

With the release of Be''s new OpenGL coming soon, I was wondering if you''d be maybe porting this over? You should be able to get info. directly from be about the implementation if you want to look into it before the release. Yes, Be''s new OpenGL has been coming "Real Soon Now" for quite some time!

I''ve got a preliminary port done based on NeHe''s tutorials. Pretty crap effot, doesn''t really work. I''ll occasionally try and get it going.

If someone else would like to do a proper version themselves (A dedicated Be user), I''d love to have them on board. PortaLib is in CVS at sourceforge now, so anyone wanting to do that can get themselves signed up to it.

I know there are some Be developers that have access to the OGL Beta so maybe one of them might be interested. If you have a specific post you want released then just send it to me via email.

Damn, how many 500 Internal Server erros can you get attempting to post?

That''d "be" great (sorry, that was awful).

Yes I''d prefer someone who knows Be and uses Be regularly to maintain the port. I can help out of course, but if I do it it''ll only be a quick hack.

I own BeOS5.0.3 and have an ATI RadeOn and Also BETA OpenGL.

I must check that I can code with it, but I know I have the headers required.

I may send them to you if you wish.
And also I may help to port the tutorials...

I would double check your NDA with Be for the Beta program first. No reason to violate their stuff. Besides, Brett said he wouldn''t really have the time to port it himself, and I DEFINTELY don''t know c/c++ programming that well.
