I was wondering how people create AI. When i want to create it, i have bunch of IF statements here and there, and that''s really confusing. You got your game code confusing, and you also got your AI code confusing, that''s a mess. there must be a shorter and simpler code for it. Anybody knows that?
My compiler generates one error message: "does not compile."

Real AI is rarely straight code with IF statements. It is usually more organized into domains of expertise, knowledge bases which fire when triggered. There are numerous ways that it is done (I''m not talking about simple monster path finding in games).

If you want some ideas on one of the different ways, try a seacrch with the keywords: "production system" and AI.
