D3D8 Books?

Are there any books for Direct 3D 8 yet? I know there are several tutorials and good docs that come with it, but nothing really beats a thick book I can actually read away from the computer screen.

No, sadly not. Everything you need is in the SDK anyway. Print-out the docs and start reading
