Design Patterns
Hey guys, sorry for brievity, but I have to go. I was just wondering if you guys had any references of articles/tutorials that explained the Singleton class, the Facade, the Factory class, Observer class, and other common class practices. Thanks, I'd just like to understand them so I'd know when/where to implement them.
EDIT I have these so far:
http://www.csc.calpoly.edu/~dbutler/tutorials/winter96/patterns/tutorial.html
http://www.informit.com/guides/printerfriendly.asp?g=cplusplus&seqNum=148
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abstract_factory_pattern
Thanks.
While the patterns are demonstrated with Java code, it should be easy enough to translate them to C++ or any other object oriented language.

Buy this book. It's not true that it makes you itch, smell and generally feel uncomfortable you know where.
There is a lot of good design pattern discussion at the Wiki web site:

Wikipedia: Design pattern (computer science) has some lists and examples if you follow the Category links.
