good book directx + c#
i stopped programming win32api and directx7 a long time ago. with the release of visual c# 2005 express edition i started programming again and switched from C++ to C# (C++/CLI is crap). my question: Is there a good teaching book for directx-programming under c# out there? any recommendations?
thanks in advance.

You will find a lot of resources on the internet, but I'm not quite sure if there are many books on Managed DirectX.

The zman has a list of good books for MDX/C#.

MDXInfo.com has some good tutorials and articles on MDX as well, especially on HLSL. Take note of the render loop they use in their tutorials. If you need a good explanation of it, they offered a very good one to me here.
Here are also a few other websites that have some tutorials/articles that may help:
MSDN Coding 4 Fun
C-Unit
The Hazy Mind
There are also some others that I am missing, but this should help you get started.

Dang. Can't believe my book hasn't been reviewed yet.
Then again, maybe that's a good thing :)
