Hi everyone, first i will apologise for my "english". I'm a programmer and i'm working right now in lenguajes like VB, ASP and &#106avascript. I would like to know what lenguages are the mos comun in the game development area so i can star learning in my free time. I have experience programing un C, C++, C# , java, pascal, VB and other older lenguages. thanks for the answers.

The majority of major commercial games nowadays are written in C/C++ with an API like DirectX or OpenGL. The was a thread like this a couple of days back, you could probably find more help there.
