Okay, over the weekend, i learned some slight opengl (polygons, forming a cube and pyramid, etc). I gotta say, it has me addicted, and I haven't done much anything classified 'cool', but still, 3D :P! Anyway, on to the subject: I've heard there are some do's and dont's when following NeHe's lessons, could anyone clarify things?

Well, in my opinion NeHe Tutorials are a great resource when beginning OpenGL programming. They cover all important subjects and are written in a very elegant way.

Good luck :)

Yeah, I've actually been quite fond of them. I vaguely remember a few people complaining about the glut library, but I've been using SDL and just using the opengl parts...
