i want to do a function where i can write a patch to image but i don't know what i need more: ILvoid Picture::LoadImage(const char *FileName) { const char *File = FileName; ilGenImages(1, &texid); ilBindImage(texid); success = ilLoadImage(getch(&File)); // what to do here ... }

DevIL includes funcion that automatically loads image from file and binds it to texture:
