Collision, camera and problems

Hello, I am working on a camera which stays on the "surface" of an .x file, my map. Problem is that I am using http://www.gamedev.net/reference/articles/article2079.asp guide where D3DXLoadMeshHierarchyFromX is being used. A boundingsphere is no good for making the camera hover over the map, and I don't know any other way of doing it. Could it be done via D3DXIntersect ? And if yes, how? Noted: The map itself is not just a groundplane, but it has buildings on it, difficulting matters I believe. Thank you for reading //Todilo

Bump ...

Can add that I have another problem. I used the "normal" loading from x file, and all .x files work except my map(figures), it becomes a box only ... probably somehting wrong with it but I didn't make it myself, what could be wrong and what should I tell the maker to change?
