This is a question to those in the progamming field not just gamming. I'm currently working on my cs degree. I'm in the military and my choices are really limited on what I can do with deployments and normal work hours and all. So the question is am I setting myself up for failure when I get out by doing my degree online.

The only game degrees offered online aren't even worth the paper they are printed on unfortunately.

Pretty much, yeah, you're setting yourself up for failure. I have never heard of anyone having a satisfying experience with online CS programs, just complaints about teachers not being available for questions and not taking time to carefully evaluate assignments. They're conveyor belts, designed to deposit you at the other end with a degree before you can waste any of their time.
