i was wondering if there is a way to obtain the class name (or type name) for a given variable. something like: (as) class MyClass {}; MyClass thisObject; if (typeof("thisObject") == "MyClass") ... how could (if is possible, of course) i declare the typeof() global function ?

whau andreas, this is why i think i have to go sticking more with angelscript cause i'm already a newbie even some weeks after learning it. there's always to learn from your gr8 engine tho ;D

why these types of helpful tricks aren't in the wiki ?

It's not in the wiki because it seems that nobody has the interest to update it.

The wiki was created for everybody to update, but so far only I have actually put any information up there.
