Game + Pathfinding + Source Code

Hi, does someone know where can i find an implementation of any pathfinding algorithm in a simple game with the source code? i have many problems with it, so i will be easier to me to understand it..... thanks......

TA SPring has nice working pathfinding. I based my pathfinding on their approach.

But I doubt it is anywhere near the idea of a "simple game".

There are many implementations of the A* algorithm out there... so have a search for 'astar algorithm source' on your favorite search engine. I think it's easier to understand the basic concept while just having a look at the algorithm itself instead of diving into the source of a complete game.

thank you, but....
i would like to see how a simple game (like a 2d racing game or so) implements some pathfindind, so i can see it i "real action".......

I was recently looking into this and found a great site with sample code:

The site includes a program that lets you step through the algorithm. Great stuff.
