What I mean is: <img src="something.jpg" alt=""> with no alt. I browse forums with "images - cached only" option, so every time I see a new image, that I do not have, I reload it by hand - by right clicking on it and giving a 'reload' command. Now, I cannot do that, if an image has no size. Putting anything as "alt" would solve it. Where do I see this particular problem emerging: 1. In thread status symbol (first column in thread list of a particular forum). But that's a minor case, since they never change ;) 2. In "Image of The Day" threads avatars - those change often, and every time a new thread is created, I have to reload whole page (all avatars on first page) just to get this one. Thanks in advance! ~def Disclaimer: I know virtually nothing about html/css/etc, so if I'm talking nonsense, sorry in advance ;/

It's also a good idea for accessibility and text-only browsers, who use the alt tags in place of the images - it's just good practice. Then again, so is validating to w3 standards which I don't think gdnet does yet :).
