I'm trying to get buffered keyboard input using DirectInput.Device.GetBufferedData(). I am having a dilemna with it, though. The offsets the data returns seem to be keyboard offsets, and I'm worried that the values will not be consistent across computers and keyboards. Does anyone know if the values are consistent? If not, is there a way to use it so that I get values that are consistent? Ideally I'd be able to get DirectInput.Key values instead of keyboard offsets. Is there a way to do this? And finally, does anyone know why the immediate mode returns Key values, whereas the buffered mode returns offset values (Just out of curiosity). Thanks in advance!
