Hello fellow developers. I'm used to programming small dx applications in both 2 and 3 dimensions, and because of the size of my apps and games, i decided not to use dlls or calls to any other homemade routines. But as i too started with a bigger engine, i saw the light of these methods, and i'm creating a class to control physics and graphics for my engine. I have a main application that calls routines in this dll, but i suddently found myself in a puzzling situation because i want to create a surface with a call to the dll, and i don't know how to pass the directdraw objects i already use. Creating a new dd object in the class doesn't work for me, i think it's because i already set a (wrong?) cooperativemode in my main application. I use DDraw7 and VB6, help will be appreciated, i'm really lost.
