Ok i am new here and i do not know anything about programming or game making. I tried game maker but i couldnt figure it out. So could anyone help me out here? Thanks.

Sure. If you want to make games you can follow a couple of routs: the game maker route, or the program it yourself route.

Game makers are good to a certain point, but they just become too limiting. If you really want to learn how to program computers (particularly games), you should learn a programming language.

I would recommend Python. It's fast, easy, and quick to program in.

Someone is probably going to tell you to learn the C++ programming language (the one used most commonly to make games in big companies), but I wouldn't recommend it because it is so much more difficult to learn. Once you learn Python, it will be easier to learn another language anyway.

Oh, and buy a book on python (search the book list here, and Amazon), don't just use tutorials. Books are much better for any subject.
