Horizontal scroll in ListBox

Recommended Posts

I'm using MFC, and have a ListBox (LB) that has dozens of lines of text in it. From properties, I have enabled both Horizontal scroll, and vertical scroll options. When I compile and run, vertical scrolling works fine, but even for some line of text that is so large that it exceeds LB's right side, horizontal scroll continues to be disabled. Does any one know how to enable horizontal scrolling option in ListBoxes? Appretiate your help.. [EDIT: I just noticed, there is a function SetHorizontalExtent(int) in CListBox class that does the trick..thank you for your time] [Edited by - Taha Ansari on May 17, 2006 2:41:51 AM]

You accidently posted in the wrong forum. This forum is dedicated to development for the .NET platform.

I see you already fixed the problem(Good to hear :)), so a suggestion for the next time: Try the General Programming forum, they know much more there about this subject, and it probably means your problem is faster resolved(Which means: More time for you to code).
