How to get meshes in to the engine?
A while back I wrote a milkshape 3d importer for my engine because the format was easy to parse and could import 3D Studio files. But I haven''t got Milkshape to successfully load anything from 3D Studio. Usually when you import from 3ds to milkshape the mesh looks all screwed up and the u and v coordinates seem to have all gotten lost. Now I’m wondering if anyone knows what''s wrong or any better format to use then Milkshape 3D''s.
I just wrote a straight .3DS loader. You don''t have to import it then ^_^
