I'm searching for a tool or a way to transform a 2d map into a fully 3d cube map, but having streched the map over the whole cube; not having the map 6 times in the cube......Needing this vor a skybox...How to do so?

Well it depends upon how the flat 2D image represents a panoramic view, e.g. it may be meant to be mapped to a sphere, or a cylinder. In order to get a cube map out of it you could (conceptually) do something like place a cube inside the middle of a sphere or cylinder or whatever your 2d image is meant to be mapped to and then cast rays from the centre to every pixel on the image on the sphere, you'd place the pixel you're casting the ray where the ray intersects the cube, thus you build up a projection of your image on to a cube map.
