Presentation Interval & Back Buffers

presentation interval is how long DirectX will wait before presenting the next frame (taking the first back buffer and flipping it to the front buffer). The 5 choices are immediate, one, two, three and four. Check here for more info on what they all exactly mean.

BackBufferCount is the number of back buffers that you want your application to use. 0 or 1 creates 1 back buffer, 2 creates 2, etc... I don't know why anyone would want or need more than 2 backbuffers, but perhaps someone can elighten me [smile]
