I have recently changed compiliers the MSVC++ 2005 Edition, I have installed both the PSDK and DirectX SDK. When ever I install one of the DirectX samples from the docs and run it i compiles fine but, if i copy the source code into a new project it will not compile and i get errors. At the moment i am trying to run a simple window, as i don't like the template that comes with MSVC++ for windows applications, but even this code will not run. One of my errors which i have at the moment is: c:\documents and settings\user.e-097c75159d2a4\my documents\visual studio 2005\projects\directx\directx\winmain.cpp(156) : error C2664: 'CreateWindowExW' : cannot convert parameter 2 from 'const char [13]' to 'LPCWSTR' i don't know what it means i will post the source code if needed. Cheers Jozers
