The program ''D:\Microsoft Visual Studio\MyProjects\Copy of Landscape Generator\landscape\Debug\landscape.exe'' has exited with code 128 (0x80). I get these errors in my program, it was working fine the other day and now it won''t work. Can someone help me and tell me what that error means. Justin

There are a few things that could cause this. Usually it''s a memory problem. Most commonly, you managed to land on NULL without intending to. This can happen by (off the top of my head, I''m sure I''ll miss some)

- attempting to use a NULL pointer, e.g.
stuff *pointer = NULL;
pointer->widget = 2;

- attempting to index past the end of an array

- attempting to index past the beginning of an array

- attempting to access an uninitialized pointer

- attempting to access a window whose hWnd is NULL

- attempting to access a member of a pointer which has been incorrectly cast (either through void* or a base class)

hth.
