Learning C++

Recommended Posts

I like this site. But it's probably better for reference than learning:

http://www.cplusplus.com/doc/tutorial/

And if you don't know a programming language already, you're going to have to start with Hello World to get it. If you already know a language then a reference is all you generally need. C++ will require an understanding of Object Oriented design which will break your brain for a couple weeks but then make perfect sense.

Best thing to do might be to pick up a book at the library or a bookstore. The For Beginners FAQ, i think, lists a couple good ones.

[EDIT: or check out the C++ Workshop that Oluseyi linked =)]
