I'd like to know if there are any libraries out there that can determine the width and height of most video file formats using C++. I'm going to be using it to resize dynamically uploaded content on the web since javascript (I've tried it already and asked around on 2 different forums for the javascript) isn't enough to deterimine the width or height of a video file. Thanks a whole bunch!

DirectShow can do what you want (see IBasicVideo::GetVideoSize). However, to load things other than AVI, MPG, ASF, WMV, and DVD, like MOV files for instance, you will need to find DShow filters for them.

Thank you so very much. That was the exact information that I was looking for. Is that library in addition to jpeg and gif's by any chance? I also need a library that reads the header files and gets the width and heights of them as well.
