Necessary files for Direct Input?

I have been through furby100''s Direct Input tutorial, but I can''t get it to work. I am pretty darn sure it has to do with me not including all the Direct Input files that I am supposed to. What files should I be including with my project (under project->settings then the link tab)? Never cross the thin line between bravery and stupidity.

When in doubt, use everything - you can''t go wrong. First, you need to #include . What I''d do is just link every .LIB file and take them back out one at a time, so you see what you need. Obviously; dinput.lib, dinput8.lib, dxguid.lib would be a good start

Okay, I took a gander at the Direct Input tutorial in the SDK. It had all the files I needed to include and now things are working fine. So if there is anyone else out there wondering what files to include for a Direct X project, just check and example in the DX SDK!
