I am looking for a way to do easy real time orthogonal lightning stencil shadows using 1 light. i need internet or book papers, please also post any suggestions how i could have orthogonal stencil or soft shadows in a otherwise perspective environment.

I don't know of an easy way, but i think if you implement stencil shadow volumes for point lights, directional lights are too easy to implement.

Have you read this article by Eric Lengyel?

There are more on the net about implementation and optimization of stencil shadows (one is Mark Kilgard's most recent paper, which i didn't found). You may find something usefull in it if you haven't read it already.
