I've been to this page (It's a VB tutorial for directx8): http://www.gamedev.net/reference/programming/features/dxgvb1/page2.asp For some reason these 2 lines: Set Dx = New DirectX8 '//Create our Master Object Set D3D = Dx.Direct3DCreate() '//Let our Master Object create the Direct3D Interface give an error. I've tried it every possible way, but I can't seem to get it right. Any help? Thanks in advance.

I’m sorry I’m not familiar with using DirectX and VB. But, however, I find this site like ten thousand times when ever I search for stuff.

What types of errors are you getting?

Me too, but it isn't really useful.
The errors are basically syntax errors, I think it's because those tutorials are old.

2 lines can't error, one must error before the other.

Did you add the reference to the typelibs?
