[MDX] Animation sets

Ok. I have a .x mesh that has many animations inside it. Run, jump, swim, attack, idle, etc. I have code that will load and run the animations based off the implementation from the MDX Kickstart book. My problem is when I render the mesh it runs through all of these animations. Can anyone give me some advice on seperating each animation and rendering only the frames for that specific one?
