DX8 link error

Whenever I try to compile my project or any of the dx samples it gives me the following error: c:\mssdk\LIB\ddraw.lib : fatal error LNK1106: invalid file or disk full: cannot seek to 0x389bc793 Does anyone have any ideas on whats wrong?

Have a look in the DXReadme.txt in your mssdk folder. This is a known issue with VC++ 5 which can be fixed.

Downloading the latest service pack from microsoft will fix the prob..
