Well after a few gamedev posts I think I got everything working nice.. Fraps reports 999fps (max fps reportable with fraps) so I think I got the framerate issue solved. Just let me know if it actuially runs on your pc (i know by experience sometimes it works great on one pc but doens't do crap on another). Just download: http://www.digitalneo.net/GameTest.zip Extract the entire folder, and run. Pres Alt+F4 to close it. There SHOULD be two knights that start out on different sides of the screen, and walk down to the lower left hand corner side by side (not at the same time). This is done with my map engine.. First, I create the two knigts as mobs. Give them a walk path, then add them to the map:
Map.AddMob(TestKnight1);
Map.AddMob(TestKnight2);
After that, the object oriented classes for the mobs, the textures inside the mobs, and the map itself takes over.. Man I love C#.. Anyway let me know if it works or doesn't.. and if it runs slow (and what video card specs you have). You of course must have .NET and DirectX9 installed. Thanks in advanced!

Started out at around 850, but quickly jumped up to 999. You should be OK video card wise, I have a crappy built-in 64MB ATI chip. Then again drawing a bunch of sprites isn't exactly GPU intensive. Please add an in-game FPS counter and make it windowed, that fullscreen + Fraps stuff is not cool.

Thanks for testing and yeah, once I start working on input I'll also allow windowed mode.
