Okay, I've been trying to get sdl working on visual studio.net 2003 (c++), so I've followed the instruction on this site: http://pgdc.purdue.org/sdltutorial/sdl_setup.html However, I get to where it says to build the solution and I get some errors: msvcrt.lib(MSVCR71.dll) : error LNK2005: _exit already defined in LIBCD.lib(crt0dat.obj) msvcrt.lib(MSVCR71.dll) : error LNK2005: _fprintf already defined in LIBCD.lib(fprintf.obj) msvcrt.lib(MSVCR71.dll) : error LNK2005: _fclose already defined in LIBCD.lib(fclose.obj) msvcrt.lib(MSVCR71.dll) : error LNK2005: __isctype already defined in LIBCD.lib(isctype.obj) LIBCD.lib(crt0init.obj) : warning LNK4098: defaultlib 'msvcrt.lib' conflicts with use of other libs; use /NODEFAULTLIB:library Debug/sdl test.exe : fatal error LNK1169: one or more multiply defined symbols found How can I fix this? What have I done wrong? Help is much appreciated, Thanks.

In the code generation options in the C/C++ folder of your project properties do you have the C runtime library set to use the multithreaded DLL version?
