I'm curious as to whether a certain effect is capable with MDX. I would like to create a program to display animations on the desktop, the thing is however, I would like to have the app render in the wallpaper space, behind any icons. Is this possible? And if so, how would one go about acheiving that effect? EDIT: Please use a more descriptive subject line in future! EDIT: Updated the subject. Thanks Mr. Mod! It should theoretically be possible, but any solutions I've found and/or can think of seem like a big pain to implement. For some good suggestions, check out this thread on the MSDN forums.

Thanks for the link! I'll have the give those methods a look. I'm thinking the overlay would be *better*, but I'm thinking it would be that much harder in MDX. I'll have to look into it.
