DirectX Texture Rendering Problem

I'm using the latest version of Managed DirectX June 2006 and VB2005.NET. Basically on nVidia video cards there appears to be a graphical error when RenderStates are applied to make Direct3D Sprites transparent. Works fine on all my ATi video cards.
