C++ Initialization
Okay, C++ is a good all around language, but I have a lot of trouble memorizing the initialization for Sockets, Windows, OpenGL, etc. So, do you understand what the code does, but put the initialization in a class so you don't have to write all that code in the future? Or do you memorize everything down to the last function like a guru and code everything out procedurally?
Nah, I never memorize, I just look things up in the documentation. Of course, after doing that a few times I learn some stuff by heart, but I don't try to memorize initialization calls.
That's why there are bookmarks and the old fashion log book ( gone through a couple of those now ).
