I have a textbox, and I have a callback to do something when the value changes. However I set the value in code, and in this case, I don't want to trigger the callback. Is it possible? I set the textbox with SetDlgItemText.

I would say the most elegant solution isn't to disable the callback at certain times (might as well just use a boolean flag or something then). The best solution in my mind would be to have your "do something" function still work even when the value is manually put into the edit box.

It's hard to describe how that might work without know what is done when the callback is executed. Care to share?

Matt
