Hi there! Has anybody used D3DQuery to add markers for profiling with NvPerfHUD? In the NvPerfHUD documentation it says that you can use D3D markers (I'm assuming D3DQuery events) to place markers in the GPU command buffer and the markers can be visualized in NvPerfHUD. Adding the D3DQuery events seems to be pretty trivial but is there any way to associate a string with the event? For example, to profile the time it takes to render a cube you'd add an event called "Cube Render". Thanks.

I believe it is refering to the D3DPERF_*() set of functions, such as:

- D3DPERF_BeginEvent()
- D3DPERF_EndEvent()
- ...

These are used for other profilers like PIX, so I'd bet they work for perfHud, too.
