i've written a function that stretches an image into a quadrangle. it's in delphix. i know that delphix is slow, but dropping 30% of fps when changeing canvas.brush.color and dropping 50% fps when drawing solid polygons is too much. my algorythm is fast. i tested it on a TForm's canvas and i have the same amount of fps when using delphix :P. when i'm not drawing quadranfles (just calculating them) i have the same amount of FPS as not calculating and drawing black surface. how can i stretch image to a quadrangle fast without 3d hardware acceleration (on delphi)? I want to make a simple game that would run at least 5 fps on Pentium 166 MMX and that uses quadrangle image stretch. any suggestions?
