I noticed Direct Tutorial a few weeks ago and i found it is a brilliant and best website for get down and dirty in DirectX. I found it the most clear and concise (thanks to the one and only Chris Hanson)...
Other sites i could forward as these could broaden the learning scope as one tutorial can sometimes not be enough. They are some other tutorials, but some notably follow Direct3D:
C-Unit
Drunken Hyena
CodeSampler
32 Bits
Triple Buffer (new)
Triple Buffer (old DX9)
