Hi, this is not really a game related question. I'm actually creating an app for a visually impaired person. The app takes in live video from a webcam and will display it on screen. Their camera has high optical mag so that if they place it over a book they can read the pages. what I want to do is send the video directly to the display something like blitting with GDI. the reason for this is I want to split the monitor, so that one half displays the windows desktop and the other half the camera image. I've heard that you can use windowless rendering to do this from direct Show, but I cant get it to work, I'm left with the window on the desktop minus the video. Can this be done? thanks, Fergal....
