Custum Cursor

For my game, I just hide the standard OS cursor and draw a sprite where the mouse was last. It's a bit laggy, but it works.

Apparently SDL has hardware accelerated cursor methods, but I doubt they work that well with OpenGL.

Once, I got a custom cursor after downloading this software that I found through Google. In the end it looked like I could have just accessed some sort of Windows thingy to open up a menu, and from there select different cursors. Theoretically, if you can find that, you can easily find out how to make your own cursor and use it for you game.

Found it! C:\WINDOWS\Cursors is where cursors are stored on Windows. Maybe that's where you'd have to go to put in your own cursor, but you can also access a menu through start > control panel > Cursor and mess with that.

I hope this is helping, but I really don't have a clue I guess.
